Since he gave up the power, I was thinking it can't be passed on to anyone else ever again ... which kinda sucks. I guess. If it's over it's over.
But how will they actually defeat this guy who is so powerful and Deku doesn't even have his whole quirk anymore??? What on earth are they gonna do???

That “We are here” panel was dope ngl, and I’m glad Shoto and Endeavor are back. Interesting to see what Deku will do and how they plan to defeat AFO with him only having the embers of OFA left.

Yeah man this sucks. So the main character loses the fight he's been preparing the whole series for horribly. In front of the entire world, then needs to be bailed out of it by everyone else, then loses his powers at the end. Never seen a manga fall off this hard

That's every shonen story ever. DB had it, OP, Naruto, etc. Quit complaining, it's a common story telling trope to give the protagonist a struggle they can't win without help.

Literally all of those shows respected their mc far more than this.
The problem is that Deku literally does nothing, is about to be surpassed by all his friends, and will probably leave the show with nothing. Shigaraki at this point is at least a multi-continental+, a bunch of street to building levels have no business even approaching him.
Also, I fail to see how midoriya is the #1 hero after this... His rival beat a major series villain (AFO), whilst he loses no diff, needs his friends to bail him out and (possibly) ends up quirkless.

I don't think he lost OFA completely.
I think he just lost the extra quirk, rendering him to All Might state (accumulated of pure strength).
I thought of this because Deku said he hasn't lost his ember.
because if not, there's no way Deku could win this fight as a quirkless person.

<ALL MIGHT> best char in all of MHA by far... as a character himself, how he ties into the themes of the series (THE SYMBOL), and what he means in Midoriya's own story, I think Horikoshi knocked it out of the park with All Might.

Deku from the boy with no quirks, to many and back to none, it would be extremely poetic

"You say Run!" started playing!! 😭 I love this chapter. And, "We are Here" totally reminds of the Avengers! 😊 Deku --- with the All Might shirt from that guy... 😳 Anyway, this chapter is epic! Sero dragging in Endeavor and Shōtō in the fight is sooo slick!!! Deku's quirkless now, but he still has the embers of One for All! 😖

@WoodedSkate89 I sadly have to agree. Loved this manga because of its concept and Deku but now, it's just disappointing to read. Some of the past chapters I have mildly enjoyed, but this chapter was just... nothing, like seriously, absolutely nothing happened and it was a drag to read.
